The water lily is my favourite flower, it grows freely in the city of Hangzhou where I used to live.

This is an experiment to see if I can recreate the style of the Taiwanese artists such as Chen Shu Fen.

Ah, Hangzhou, I've been there this summer, the most beautiful city I visited in China.
Good drawing and beautiful colors! It doesn't need any more textures, I like the lines and the watercolor look.

OMG she's so pretty! definitely my type

I'm completely mezmerized by her face, her eyes are so piercing!
I think the hair -althought very beautiful- needs some more work, more highlights, because the face is very much exposed to light, but the hair has no highlight whatsoever.
The hands aren't really the same style as the face, you should work on them more, but since it's a "speedpainting" (only took 4 hours) I think they look nice anyway.
I love those greens, but I think there should be some in the face too.

aww that's such a pretty face... I know it's a quick painting but it's lovely. Uhm... if you use photoparts it's a photomanip but in this one those are textures... I think this belongs in painting.
