Long time no me, miss me? no? oh well. School has been very testing for the past few months... and it's going to get worse.
I know this has been lying around on my harddrives for ages now, and since it's the Easter holidays I figured I might as well "finish" it. I can't be bothered to do more... I've got other things; more important (sadly) things to do.

Expect some more art in the near future... I have new camera so maybe you will see some traditional medium art too.

Thanks to torontojack for the lovely photoreference.

P.S. This looks even worse than it did when I was working on it... stupid JPEG converter. grrr. or am I just making excuses? I'll stop rambling now... got maths to do.

lol, moon vibrations indeed, I guess I went a bit overboard with that, just got fed up near the end. And I still can't draw hands; it's been my problem since day 1.

I'm glad to see this one finally make it into the main gallery. I remember seeing this in some of the earlier stages, and must say I'm astounded at the finished piece.

The attention to detail is amazing, the hair on the 'dark girl' in particular is one of my favorite parts of the piece. The way you've drawn the individual strands blowing in the breeze gives it a feeling of movement and life. My only critique would be the cloth that covers the 'dark girl's' hand. It seems a little flat/stiff looking to me. Still a great piece +5/5.

Wow, cool atmosphere!

Most interesting to me is the fact that interaction between them is such suggestive so it's drawing all the attention and viewer doesn't have chance to notice there are some really weird stones on the cemetery

I had to look into photo you mentioned just to find what's going on. And I must say you have added a lot of your fantasy and skills to finish the rest of composition.

NIce interpretation of the photo. I've been working on a torontojack image too, but have had to leave it for awhile. I'll finish it eventually.

I really like your style. The only crit I have is that I think you should've used some of that blue-green ambiant light more on the characters (esp. the skin and hair).

The only thing, if the moon is the light source you should have done it brighter to fit better on girls highlights. I allso see that in some parts of the picture the light casts wrongly, look that is nearly a crosslight image and you added lighting on the left of the picture.

Thanks for the crit; yes, you're right. I have realised that the lighting is a bit skewed; the lack of shadows is because I simply got fed up in the end. However, in a way there are 3 light sources; one from the moon, one from the horizon and one weak source where the moonlight has reflected off Chii; I wanted it to give the impression that she was iridescent. ^_^

Hmmm, wonderful picture. I don't know the photo, I don't know "Chobits", so I found my own story in it. Dark mistress wanted her slave to get rid of an irrational fear. So she took her to a graveyard, where she made her to walk alone among the graves... BDSM, lesbians, graveyards... umm, I must be going crazy.
